1. Information we collect

• •Account data: name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted form).
• •Usage data: the matrices you create, birth dates, partners you add, and compatibility comparisons.
• •Language preference and basic app settings.

2. How we use information

We use the data we collect solely to provide the service — to calculate your matrix, store your results, and manage your account. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data storage & security

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase). Passwords are stored as hashes, and login tokens are kept only on your own device (in your browser local storage). We retain your personal data only while your account is active; when you delete your account, your data is permanently removed.

4. Cookies & local storage

We do not set advertising cookies unless you accept them in our cookie banner. With your consent, Meta and TikTok may set cookies (e.g. _fbp, _ttp) to measure ad performance, and Microsoft Clarity may set cookies to record anonymised session replays and heatmaps that help us improve the site, and Google Analytics may set cookies (e.g. _ga) for aggregate traffic analytics (sensitive inputs are masked); if you decline, none are set. We use browser local storage only to keep you signed in and remember your language preference, and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) to measure aggregate traffic and performance; this does not personally identify you.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties. Data is only processed by the infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the service. For the coffee-cup reading feature, the photo you submit is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to generate your reading, and the image is stored in your private history until you delete it. For the Soulmate Sketch, the selfie you upload is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to generate your portrait and reading; it is not used to identify you and is not retained for any other purpose. We use Sentry to capture technical error diagnostics (not the content of your readings) so we can keep the service reliable. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe; the information needed to complete a payment (such as your email and payment details) is handled by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

6. Your rights

From your account settings you can download all your data as JSON (export) or permanently delete your account and all associated data — no need to contact us. Questions: support@mybakht.com.

7. Children's privacy

The platform is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on the platform.
