Disruptions in family harmony could stem from someone's dependencies or authoritarian behaviour, leading to resentment and suffering, or from betrayal due to external temptations. Family distress might also arise from law-breaking, personal vices, an abusive or tense environment, or a lifestyle of immorality and lawlessness.
